Thread Contributor: CoddrSpace Broke? BBEditor
#1
Ubers,

Without joke my space doesn't work correctly anymore in this BB editor. And it is only the live one where you make threads in and post cause quick reply does work fine.
Also it is only on this website, Othere sites and software is completly fine. So it is defently not my keyboard.

Is this because of a update or not?

The editor didn't change at all, so its in no way related to anything on the site having switched if it had been working for you before. Clear your browser/cache and try again. I suppose an addon you have active might be able to cause an issue as well.

What version of Chrome are you running? You can pull the version number at chrome://help/ Try using a different browser and post the results/version number here. You should also try disabling extensions temporarily, then clearing your cache before trying again. Nothing at all has changed within the editor, the scripts that power it, or its unique templates, so it's virtually impossible for the theme to be an issue. As this is an isolated issue at present, I'm inclined to believe the fault is in your browser or some data having been cached incorrectly. Once you've provided the specific version and results for both browsers you use in testing we'll be able to start tracking this down.

Edit: Chrome 52.0.2743.82 x64 (latest) and Firefox 47.0.1 are working without an issue here with uBlock Origin running in each.

I can confirm that the editor works as intended and that there are no issues. It does seem to be on Coddr's side.

Just to confirm. Here is no any problems. Ubers works and run perfect.

There's your problem. You're running Chrome Canary which isn't mean to be a general use browser. While it's always cutting edge in terms of the latest Chromium source that may have features working their way into later builds of Chrome, it also has unexpected bugs. I've confirmed the issue in the OS X build of Canary as well.

I've verified that this is an issue on sites like the MyBB Community forums and is not isolated to our board. I've tested this in a few other browsers and Chrome Canary is the only one with this issue. Regular builds of Chrome, FF, etc are running fine. I've sent an issue report to the Chrome Canary team.

Since the cause for this issue has been determined and verified, and no issue with the site itself was discovered, I'm going to close this topic. Thanks for reporting - hopefully the Canary team will fix it soon.
