Thread Contributor: Bish0pQWikiLeaks publishes CIA documents

You guys probably already heard about this, but still it's nice to share.

Apperently Wikileaks published a lot of CIA documents/files that contain very interesting information. After a few days it has already been confirmed that they could activate microphones in smart TV's.

There also have been rumours that the CIA would perform assasinations by hacking your car (which would make it look like an accident).

The Wikileaks page can be found here.

You can download the documents here.

Note: I recommend being carefull since reports have been made whether the file would or would not contain backdoors linked to the CIA. I don't think Wikileaks would do this but caution is advised.

What do you guys think?

I don't exactly know. It depends, they're are cars connected to the internet but I highly doubt they can crash it remotely. That's why I included "rumours" in the sentence. I mean nothing is impossible, but I still doubt they can crash "any car".

Some cars have the ability to be started from an app on your phone.
There's probably some way of accessing other features of the car as well.

Some of these Vault 7 leaks are troubling. Granted this is proof of things we've speculated at for years, but truly, in some ways these leaks make the NSA look like somebody you'd go down to the pub with.

Read about this a few days ago. What puzzles me though, is how surprised some people are - like, did you not always consider this? >.>

Of course, I mean, we all know that they were doing this. It's just nice to show the people the we're not all conspiracy thinkers, but that we were actually right. Doesn't surprise me at all.

Not you, silly Tongue Out

I've seen some people get all crazy and "I give up this world" because of this.

I'm sure most of us knew about it.
