Virus Removal Tools
#1
Greetings everyone,

Here's a few virus removal tools, that are certainly worth keeping on hand. Now they don't replace your current AV, but more so can be used to remove malicious content that your Antivirus failed to detect. Most are portable editions, meaning there's no Installation required, just execute and you're good to go. There's more tools of this nature available, I've simply listed those most popular In the scene. They can be run alongside your existing Antivirus product.

They're from reputable websites, hence no need for online virus scan reports and are available as a freeware download.

You're most welcome StrandedB.

MBAM & Comodo Firewall certainly work well together. There's also "Comodo Internet Security", but given It's an Ad-Supported license, I don't like the popups that happen at regular Intervals. But there's no complaints with It's detection rate.

Great share as always mate. I would like to advice also JRT (Junkware Removal Tool), AdwCleaner, Rootkit Remover (from McAfee) and not to forget Malwarebytes which has helped me a lot during virus removal tasks.

Yes of course, those tools are definitely worthy of their purpose.

For myself, MBAM Is probably the most widely-used tool for many years to date.
